Here is some additional  information:
 
Dominik is a non-profitable  home for seniors. Since is has only 36 beds in single or double  rooms, it gurantees familiar atmosphere and individual service. The 22-member staff look after their clients respecting their individual needs. The relationship between their staff and their clients is based on mutual trust maintaining the clients'  dignity and independence. They also encourage our seniors to participate in daily activities providing a structured daily programme for them.
 
The highest aim of our home is to help and support our clients to obtain the best possible quality of life.
 
What do we offer?
 
A.    Accommodation:
 
The whole building, rooms and bathrooms are handicapped accessible.
 
-Single and double rooms with private bathroom and toilet have their own TV, telephone, the Internet and the fast nurse-patient communication system.
 
-Our building has a number of common rooms, where our clients can meet each other, watch films, meet their relatives, etc.
-A huge park with a barbecue section is also an integral part of our premises.
 
B.   Meals:
 
Meals are served 5 times a day in our cosy dining room or if necessary in the client's room.
All dishes are prepared in our modern kitchen.
Dietary wishes can also be fulfilled.
 
C.   What else do we offer?
 
- A doctor- practitioner who has his practice in the building
- Medicine and medical devices are delivered to the client
- A small store to supply our clients with personal items
- Pedicure, massage and in-house hairdresser are available at very moderate prices
- Washing and ironing of the client's personal laundry
- Cleaning of the room
 
We also organize visits to museums, theatre and other cultural activities.
If our clients want to help in the kitchen, bake bread or do some gardening, they are welcome to do so.
We are open to all religious beliefs. The Catholic church is situated next to our building.
 
Our seniors are encouraged to take a stroll in our spacious park with a small lake or to do some guided walking in the nature nearby.
There is a small house built in an old style with some sheep.
Last but not least, we have a reahabilitation centre where we can offer individual rehabilitation.
 
Slovak language is spoken on our premises.
